Michael Ferguson, Senior Sales Engineer, Netskope
Michael ‘Fergo’ Ferguson is APAC CTO. Netskope. He is a highly customer-focused security professional, having worked in the cyber security industry for over 15 years across the Asia Pacific Region. Michael has been CISSP certified for over 6 years, speaking at various industry events (e.g. Gartner, AISA), whilst also working on large Data Loss Prevention and Cloud Security projects with some of Australia's most recognisable organisations. Michael has extensive web, email and cloud security experience, specializing in running DLP and Insider Threat programs. Michael is English by birth but migrated to Sydney, Australia twelve years ago.
Jason Shepherd, Security Solutions Architect, Trustwave
Jason has over 15 years experience in cybersecurity (and many more in the tech and military sectors), having worked as an implementor, designer, and team leader for Australian organisations as well as numerous roles as an architect for Check Point Software, Optus and now Trustwave. With extensive experience working with clients of all sizes, Jason is an expert in understanding the business and technology drivers that organisations have when they need to improve their security posture. Jason helps all levels of stakeholders, from board members to security architects, to understand their security needs and find the solutions that fit their business. Working with key best-of-breed technology vendors and leveraging our telco links to Optus for secure integrated communications, Jason takes a trusted advisor role to share client experiences and best practices.
